Q1. What is the difference between CIE 444 and CIE 666?
CIE 444 is metal body, up to 1000V. CIE 666 series is wooden teak body for higher voltages like 2500V and 5000V and up to 20000 MΩ range, preferred by utilities.

No. It has an inbuilt hand-driven generator. You just crank at approx 160 RPM to generate the test voltage.
